Feeling her orbs take in a brief scan over his bod, Luc smiled, not in the least bit nervous or worried. Nodding, he pulled out after her, moving forward into a slow trot. Since his pillars were lengthier that her own, he was able to keep up with her at this steady pace. As they headed out into open terrain, his gait flowed into a smooth lope. The wind rustled at his tresses, blowing them back, away from his visage. Orbs shone radiantly, finding joy in his sped and at the prospect of traveling with Glass Rose.
Slowly, he was melting away all distrust and worries that the pale dove had. And he was now heading for the center of the Light world. Sapphire Oasis. Luc had only been there once before and it had been quite a while ago. He doubted that it had changed much, except for the absence of the herd members. What had once been a thriving herd, had diminished in size because of what they, the Darks, had done. He hadn’t expected his plan to work so quickly. But the Queen was so easy to get into, he hardly had to concentrate hard on what his next move would be. So Light… so easily manipulated…
Occuli scanned over the land that they were fast approaching, and soon they entered upon it. Talons striking against the loam, their three-beat slowed as the ivory hued maiden did. Arching his nape, he trotted beside her. Glancing at her, he spoke. “What land is this?” he inquired. “It is so lush and beautiful.” Clearly, he was in a bit of wonderment at the beauty of the terra. His gaze swept over the shining lake. Standing still, his attention focused on Glass Rose.

Rose moved farther away from the stream and closer to her home. The scent of the sweet water came to her nare's and the feeling of security and welcomness came. Taking in a deep breath of air, delicate femme came to a halt. Welcome home Rose. She said softly, looking around her for any disturbances or changes in her home. None.
Receptors snatched his words eagerly, ready to hear his vocalizations. Glass Rose parted her soft kissers to reply, It's called Sapphire Oasis. She smiled to him and nodded in thanks. Should I ask him if he wants to join? Rose asked herself, still unsire of whether or not she was ready to accept this stag into her herd or not.
OOC: omg...horrible given you nothing!

“Ah, I see how well the name suits this land,” he said with a smile. Auds pricked forwards, throat suddenly feeling dry and parched. Luc snorted softly, watching the water of the lake surge a little, spilling over the banks. Lush grass grew all around, but more so near the clear, cool waters. The long stalks of vegetation rustled softly as he passed through them, scythes crushing a few blades beneath his weight as he moved forwards. Passing the ivory maiden, his ebonite barrel ‘accidentally’ brushed against her own flank. The touch was very brief and he glanced back at her, smiling apologetically.
Oh, that had been so easy. And still she hadn’t told him she was Queen. He would remain oblivious to this until she told him. Yep, you heard right. He would wait. He wouldn’t push her with prying questions or anything of that sort. At the moment, she was just a simple fae.
With the looks of an angel.
Now he just needed a little something, just to make her open up to him, to let her relax and be friends. She needed to trust him completely, and have do doubts at his true heart. The last thing was the most important of all. It was the key point in his dastardly plot.
She needed to fall in love with him.
Lowering his cranium, Luc stepped forward into the lake. Ripples pooled out from where he placed his hooves. The water was shallow at this point, only up to his fetlocks. Lips were dipped into the cooling liquid and he drank until his thirst was quenched. He did not drink his fill, for he knew it was not good to run with a belly full of water. He did not plan to run, but it was always good to be prepared. Shaking his dial, crystal clear drops of water danced merrily, sparkling in the light before shooting outward from him. Some fell back into the lake, making smaller splashes and ripples of their own. His pools sparkled the same way that the water droplets had, filled with cheerfulness.
Glancing towards Glass Rose, he nickered to her, beckoning her closer. A large grin spread over his mug as she would soon near him. Orbs glinted merrily, mane unruly like a colt’s. The end of his tassle hung partly in the water as he turned, facing her. A deep rumble started low in his chest, but it was not a roar of anger. It was laughter. A foreleg quickly shot forwards as he angled a spray of water at her. Chuckling, he tossed his crania in playfulness.

A feeling of accomplishment overcame her for a moment, he liked her terra, he said it was beautiful, He likes it! She thought to herself. How easy those words had made her choose her decision, oh she would ask him to join. Rose's pearly bodice quivered at his touch and her cheeks grew rosy, Luc's smile that followed made her look elsewhere.
Rose watched him step towards the glossy water, her ooids glued onto him, watching his movements closely. Hearing his soft, calling nicker, the ivorn dove went to him eagerly, as she heard his laughter, she began to ponder what was on his mind, but she soon found out. The flying crystals wetted her blank pelt, a high-pitched giggle was released from her labrums, a smile was tossed to the ebony stud.
Rose neared him yet and acted as if she were to reach out with her mug and touch him but she pulled away at the last moment and threw her hoof into the water and sent the droplets flying towards him. With a smile on her crown and her orbs dancing, Rose dashed away from the waterside, making her way around the oasis and into the lightly wooded area.

Stag of shadow hues watched the expression on the pearly dove’s visage. He smiled back at her, and then snorted with surprise as her aim hit its mark. Water pelted his canvas, making it turn a slightly darker shade of ebon. Half rearing in play, he tossed his crania, hooves pawing gently through the air. Landing with a splash, he cantered out of the refreshing water, pillars damp. Orbs glittering merrily, he took after Glass Rose, tassle streaming behind him. It was soon dried in the wind he was creating in his run. Muscles rippled gracefully beneath his pelt, talons pounding into the loam. Harks slid forwards, a bright, attentive look ‘pon his façade. Weight was carried forwards with muscular appendages. Mane streamed wildly about his boa. Now here was a stallion in his prime. A few dapples invaded his hindquarters, shining with good health. Following the ivory fae, his pace was picked up into faster speed. It was much like a game of tag.
Things were getting better and better. Luc had started out very confident in himself and the feeling had never left him. He knew he could succeed and he knew he would. Sure, a few horses might try to stand in his way. But he would not let that bother him. He could easily plow through them just to get to the other side.OoC|| No muse at all!

OOC: Better than my museless posts
The wind brushed her mane back against her nape, the air rushing up her nares. Glass Rose rounded the bend and spotted the edge of the so called 'thicket' of her home. A boulder was what caught her attention, spotting Luc nearing her, Rose dashed towards the boulder, doing her best to make herself as small as possible. She was hidden now, well, the mare wasn't visible but her scent still lingered in the air, the trick was to match the smell with the location.
The wind changed directions, placing the mare downwind from Luc, maybe this would cause some difficulties. Her breath was shallow, not wanting her breathing to give away her hiding place. Silently and patiently, Glass Rose waited.

Luc galloped past a cluster of trees, their leaves rustling and branches creaking as the wind changed its direction. Banner whipped behind him, then flagged lower as his speed decreased, loping around another tree. He had lost sight of Glass Rose and he halted, looking about. Auds pricked, he did not hear her running further into the woods… Tassle swished, slapping dully against his bod as he turned around, listening attentively. But he heard nothing of the alabaster maiden. It seemed like their game of tag had suddenly changed to hide-n-seek. Not a bad thing at all.
This ‘flirting game’, as he called it, was running quite well. Of course, it was a typical Light thing, but it was good all the same. At least for this plot. If she were a Dark there would be more taunting, more blood, for certainly he would want a good taste, even if he had not special interest in the wench. And the courtship was also much more brutal. He preferred it that way. It was how he had grown up. It was what he expected and if it was what he wanted, he got it. No “ifs”, “ands” or “buts”. Luc was used to getting his way and if he didn’t, he would make it happen. He could be very violent if he needed to be. And it was not a problem at all. It was normal, something that could and should, be shrugged off, in his opinion. Cunning, swift, deadly… He had all the attributes needed to make the perfect Dark stag.
Nares flaring, he dissected all the different scents that came to him, riding along the wind currents like a surfer glides along a wave, combing through them with care, yet being swift in doing so. He disregarded the scents that had no value at the moment, such as the grass, water, trees and small wildlife, and searched for only one scent. Finding it in time, he glanced around, intense orbs serious, yet playful in a way that could be seen. Now he had to figure out where she was.
“Oh Rose… where are you?” he said in a singsong voice. “I know you’re somewhere…” He sounded rather like a young colt playing a game.
Right now would be the perfect time to pounce and kill the mouse. But he, the wild cat, would rather toy around with his food before consuming it. He liked to enjoy the chase.
“Rosie… Come out, come out, wherever you are…” he said, wandering around the small clearing. He stared at the boulder for a moment, cocking his dial in a childish manner. Fallen leaves rustled softly beneath his scythes as he tread closer to the large rock.

The steady drum of hooves drew closer and closer to her location, her stomach churned inside of her with anxiety, she wanted to know exactly where he was. Oh how Rose wanted to peek from a side of the boulder and see him, just to see where he was of course... not that she just wanted to gaze over his well-built bod. Right?
His voice brought forth a small giggle, which was quickly muffled, perhaps it just mixed with the calls of birds. Rose had to resist from showing herself so she had to keep herself silent, despite his words. She pressed against the side of the boulder, doing her best to keep her location a mystery. His voice now was closer, like he was on the other side of the boulder, perhaps he already knew where she was.

Auds pointed forwards, listening for respiratory sounds. He had hoped to make her laugh and was rewarded by hearing something very muffled. Smiling to himself, Luc slunk around the grey boulder, muscles tensed. Standing silent on one side, he paused for a moment, and then pounced out to the other side of the rock. Hoping to find Glass Rose there. After all, it would be pretty amusing if he did this to find that he had been stalking nothing.
Soon, he would probably met Amulet. He had been warned of this stag, but paid it no kind. Even if the brute was wary of him, he only needed to be on the Queen’s side. She had more power than anyone in the Light world. Yet she had only grazed the surface of true power.
“Boo!” he said as he leapt out, a tinge of laughter in his tone. Orbs shone merrily in playfulness. Hide was glossy and sleek again, all dust now removed. The light that peeked through the branches and leaves of the trees danced happily upon him, adding a softer effect.

The silence dragged on, still no sound or idea came to her of where Luc was. Her heart skipped a beat when he found her, a giggle was released from her labrums. Rose rushed over to the stag's side, but she paused for a moment before continuing this time away from him.
The alabaster female came to a halt at the center of clearing and she turned back around to watch Luc. A smile lay across her facade, watching him with admiration.

OoC|| ‘tis okay. Luc held himself back from giving her a small nuzzle or even a nudge as she darted close to him. Now was not the time to show any fond actions towards her. But he was certain that it would come soon. He just didn’t want to push it. They were just friend right now. Just friends.
A smile grew into a grin upon his mug as she dashed away from him, her petite figure lithe and quick. But he was right on her tail this time. Mane blowing back from his visage, his orbs was bright and gentle. Twin zeniths pricked forwards towards her, cantering forwards with large, ground taking strides. Right before he was to barrel into her, he came to a neat halt, hinds digging into the earth. Luc smiled charmingly at her, gently nipping a stray snag of hair from her mane.
“Do you think we should head back?” he asked softly. “I’m sure your lead might get worried… if we are gone for too long…” Arching his boa slightly, tresses wavering lightly against his crest. Orbs considered the ivory fae’s eyes, tender and kindly.

She watched him as he came to her, his words falling from his labrums. At his words, Rose looked away from him, a new found saddness overcame her momentarily, reality came back to her. Um...well, I don't have a lead... in fact, he was killed n-... She broke off there, unable to continue any longer, the thought of Knight made her miss him even more, even with Luc there. Rose thought of the last time she saw him, wondering why she hadn't stopped him, why he had to go.

Look again, and you’ll see…
Dial and nape were lowered a bit as her softly spoken words entered his auds. “Oh Rose… I-I am so terribly sorry,” he said. Guilt leaking its way into his tone. He hadn’t meant to make her so sad. Things had been going well without all this. “I never meant to-… he faltered, a deep sigh pressed out of his lungs. Head hanging, his stared at the ground, memories flooding him.
Now was a good time for him to speak of his ‘family’. It was all made-up of course; he had thought it all through, every little step.
Fallen, dry leaves whirled around the pair, the only sound made was their rustling. Pursing his lips, Luc looked up at the ivory maiden, orbs soft. “...was it the war?” he asked, gently. Swallowing, as this was quite hard for him. “My-my parents… and sister… they lost their lives in that horrible fight… So I-I think I know how you feel…” His voice was hoarse with emotion, it was clear that he had not yet gotten over the death of his family yet.
Family… Yeah, right! His sire had died, that much was true. But Lucifer had certainly not died in the Great Battle. He had died of old age… Well, Luc suspected it had been from fighting so much. And when Lucifer plotted, he hardly ate or slept and it affected his health greatly. His dam, on the other hand, had disappeared when he was a yearling. No one knew what had happened to her. He remembered the vix as an elegant yet mysterious femm. And, as for a sister, he had none. Luc had been an only foal. His father had been far too busy to acquire another Queen, so it was that was throughout his entire life.
…I’m not that innocent OoC\\ Made the post before I noticed it was winter. Sorry!

His words no longer seemed to phase her, Rose drifted off into a 'mourning' state, one where she just stared off into space and thought about Knight, not paying attention to anything else. His tones were heard but the lyrics didn't register, she missed him, but she knew she would have to find another at some point in time.
The femme looked to Luc for a few moments, beginning to think that she had now had a hold of herself but then she broke away, making her way towards the pool of water. She was going to go where the two of them had always gone, spent some time together, behind the waterfall.
But this little getaway behind the wall of water had a myth that went with it. One that Knight had told her when they met. This waterfall has powers...it always happens. If a mare and a stag step behind the water, they are destined... Those were his words, the mere thought of her beloved brought tears to her glossy orbs. Looking behind her once more, Rose darted into the cave, almost sure that Luc hadn't seen her. Time alone... time to think.
As she stepped into the cavernous pocket, Rose no longer looked cheerful and optimistic, she looked gloomy, depressed, her banner and mane drenched from the passing.

He watched her carefully, wondering if she was okay. She seemed to have gone through some layers, digging deeper into her past. Dial was lifted as she abruptly turned and left him in the clearing. He sighed, slowly making his way after her. Occuli looking around, he came to a halt. Where had see gone. He had thought that he had seen a flash of ivory near the waterfall, but when his gaze lingered upon the falling water, he saw nothing at all. The pearly dove had simply disappeared. And this time, it was not a game of hide-n-seek.
Maybe she wanted to be alone. If that was the case, he’d leave her alone for a while He would brush up on his plot. And if she took to long, he’d act concerned and go after he. He’d have to look into that waterfall too. It would aid him if he knew all the secrets of the terra.
