Though the depths of winter was a time of the unforgiving nature of the ice element it also held a beauty. When not in the midst of a merciless blizzard the ice and snow can portray a scenary of beauty, especially when the sun is permitted to shine down from parted clouds causing the icy shimmer to set itself forth from the white blanket that had layed itself across the land. But not today, for this current day held something not as intense as a blizzard, no. Today was merely a time of the brisk winds and the beginning of the harsh winter ahead, just as it was meant to be. Putting her nose to work the lone fae scented the air, trying to pin-point any scent that would lead her to the company of others. Starting forward, her hooves sinking slightly in the partially in the leaf littered path, Faye further ventured forth through the dense foliage, brittle branches breaking as her angel white form brushed slightly against them. A heavy sigh erupted from deep within the young fae's chest, air exceeding swiftly from her flaring nostrils fogging up before her and circling the mares facade and solen bodic. Silken mane was tossed to the opposite side of her neck as her smooth walking gait carried her lithe body forward, weaving her way along an unknown path.
But upon reaching a small clearing Faye promptly stopped in the middle of it, allowing the sun beams that had managed to breach past the dense leaves above to carress her angelic body. Seeing as she had been wandering throughout this dense forest for numerous moons and suns Faye did not see much of the bright flame that provided the earth with so much light. But this small refuge had provided at least a few stray sun rays to beat down 'pon her back, filling her body with a natural warmth she had not felt in a while.
A light breeze ruffled her silken mane and tassle, signifying at there was a glorious day outside of these wooden walls. But alas Faye had gotten herself hopelessly lost amongst the leaves and bushes, but as the breeze continued to billow past her the angelic mare hoped that her caught scent would be carried to someone's awaiting nostrils, and hopefully come looking for the owner of the sweet scent.
