Do you believe in Angels?
The sun was certainly taking its dear sweet time with getting up this morning. It poked its head lazily up on the horizon, still half hidden by the earth. It was a misty morning, and eerily quiet. Dew clung to everything it could get a grip on. A few mares were scattered through out the field, grazing lightly and gazing about anxiously, hoping a male would come to claim them soon. One mare however did not look up every few seconds. In fact, said mare thought that the whole claiming business was silly. But maybe that was because she hated waited. The white Arabian paused a moment to flick her head in an attempt to get her forelock out of her eyes. While she did this, she got a good look at her surroundings. The eager mares seemed somewhat down in the dumps, probably because there was not a stag in sight. Star allowed herself a small smile. They seemed so desperate.
The light mare watched them for awhile longer, then went back to grazing, moving forward occasionally. It certainly was taking the stallion a long time to get there, but the mare could wait. At least she had something to eat. The dew clinging to her sides dripped off her began to evaporate, which made the mare realise that the sun had finally risen. Once again she allowed herself to smile lightly. Now she had something to eat and she was not wet. Her white pelt seemed to glow in the sunlight. The mare enjoyed that effect. It seemed to match her name; Starry Sky. The stars glowed, did they not? Well, so did she. Once again, the smile lit up her face, and she resumed grazing.

The morning sun hung low in the sky, warming the earth for a short while as winter drew nearer. As the small eger stallion wondered diligantly about, slinder flints danced lightly on the dewed ground in a small fancy trot the he normally held himself in when traveling. Nares flared taking in the misted air and solumnly releasing it back out into the depths. Knowledge driven orbs searched the area for a paitent look fae as he disembled into the area only spotting afew that looked displeased, he wandered closer, Tassle risen and dial tucked to his chest, he seemed to be almost vain, found of the way he held himself. Threads hung elegantly past the stags elegantly arched boa. He slowed himself as he made breech infront of the ivroy vixen grazing wonderously umongst herself.
A small eger snort left the nares of that solumn stag, and he Be White Russian. An ekegant and disperaced stag. Giving a slight toss to his mane releaving his vission of his forelock he spoke, softly, quietly, and with a sweet manor. "Lo' Fae beautiful morning is it not?"

Do you believe in Magic?
Another was approaching, the ivory fae could feel it. But she kept her boa to the ground, pretending to be ignorant of the stag's presence. When she was adressed, however, she raised her cranium and let her chestnut-hued orbs lock with his for a moment. Then she bowed her dial respectfully and replied, "Yes, quite beautiful." Her response was short, but her vocals soft and melodic. If the stag had expected a longer response then he was talking to the wrong vix. Starry hardly ever talked too much. It was not that she was anti-social, or that she didn't like other horses, but that she preferred to keep her thoughts to herself. Especially when she was talking to complete srangers. The ivory vixen did not just anyone, especially not when they had just met. She had strange suspicions, just like I'm sure everyone else does.
The vixen looked the macu over skeptically, chocolate orbs taking in every detail. The first thing she saw was that he seemed small. He was cream-coloured, his hide was not the perfectly shade of ivory that her's was. He seemed to think alot of himself, judging by the way he carried his bod around, tassle dial to chest. As she stdudied him, she also waited for the stag's response to her short reply. She was curious about him, and she wanted to know where he had come from. For example, what was his name? Did he have a herd? Did he have any other mares? However, the vix did not say anything. She had alot of self-control, and was very proud of it. The fae watched the mascu expectantly, eager to see how he reacted. However, her emotions were not displayed, and outside she appeared completely uninterested.

Intently the creme stag watched the ivory vix before him. He listened to the words that flowed forth from her mandible, but Russ being an outgoing and timid Stag by nature drew back a few select steps before dipping his crania in a respectful bow back towards the vix. But still he kept her lithe bodice in a elegant manor. Auds swivelled in place as he thought of what to subdue to the vix. Still retaining his eger look within his optics Russ spoke with a unique tenderness than any stag would hold. "I am dubbed White Russian, I am glad you think so, If I may could I possibly know your Dubbance aswell?"
Though from his reclined distance Russ watched with mild curiosity at the stance and vocal tone that the mare was portraying. She was a sweet natured vix he could tell and he was drawn to her slightly more than the others a regal smile capped his features, awaiting solumnly for the mares retort.

Do you believe in Fairy Tales?
The femmora decided that this stag was as vain as had first percieved, and that he was actually quite nice. She listened to him speak, nodding as he introduced himself. "I go by the calling of Starry Sky." The mare said, her vocals sweet as honey. It was not hard to gain Starry's trust, and this stag had done just that. The mare would gladly follow him if he wanted her too. But then again, Starry was pretty sure that anywhere was better than standing around here with a bunch of anxious mares. The atmosphere was full of stress, as all of the mares longed for a stag to take them home with him, and were all afraid that they would never be claimed. Star was above all that foolishness, however. She knew that there were just as many stags in the world as there were does and so they all had to be claimed eventually.
A strong breeze swept over the mare, blowing her mane and tssle to the side, and sending a chill through her. She was tempted to press her bod against his, but was afraid it would anger him. Starry Sky had had more than her fair share of angry stallions in this lifetime, as her father had always been one. But she had left that life long ago, bringing with her only the memories, the fear and the scars. Thinking of this made her want comfort more than ever. But Starry planted her daggers firmly, and refused to let herself move closer to the mascu. However, she could help but hint her discomfort in her eyes, and hope that he would realise what she wanted. However, it was hard to tell someone exactly what was wrong without talking, and more often than not it was not something that you could just couldn't talk about.

He dipped his dial again after she introduced herself. "A Pleasure I am sure, I have one question if you don't mind me asking?" His Icy orbs looked to her a brillent blue they were, as bright as the morning rays but as deep as the ocean itself. A slow faint nicker escaped his vocals. A slight nod was given to the stags dial casting his mane and forelock freely about. He stood before her still and paitent, awaiting her retort. ooc: sorry that its shorter I lost track of what to do.

Do you believe happy endings?
Starry was slightly disappointed when he did not see her need for comfort, but knowing that he probably just wasn't comfortable enough around her yet to get that close she shrugged it off. Her auds swivelled when he spoke and she looked at him. She smiled. "You sort of just did, but sure, what is it?" The mare said playfully in her song-like voice. Her orbs wandered around the field, and she wondered what he was nickering at. However, she soon lost interest and looked back at him, eager to know what his question was. Of course the vixen could not be sure, but she could guess. And of course she guessed that it was something good, and that was why she was so eager. Of course, as usual, she looked extremely calm on the outside. Starry glanced up at the sky, watching as the clouds blew across the sky leisurely, and the sky was at what was probably at the highest it was going to get. Alot of time had passed, it seemed. Of course, watching the sun was probably not most accurate way of telling time, as it always seemed to rise and set at different times.
